For Bonnie Bartlett, who owns Charles R Vineyards along with her husband Charles Richard Bartlett, an old oak tree that sits in her backyard is a beacon of inspiration. It is the same tree that graces the winery’s labels, sketched by Bartlett herself. “I just took it (the sketch) to the label company and gave them that,” she said.
