Tasting Notes

While completely dry, this wine glides across the palette with a smooth confidence.  Strawberry leads on the nose and rhubarb rounds out the palette. Refreshing citrus leads to watermelon in a lingering finish.
A beautifully food-friendly wine, this is one that will pair with holiday fare, late summer BBQ, and rich soups and stews.

Tracy Hills AVA is one of California’s youngest designated appellations.  The Ramon Rios Vineyard is a moderately well-drained, fine textured site, located at the base of the Tracy Hills near Mount Oso. Hot dry summers and cool moist winters characterize the area.
