NOTES

Vineyard
The Livermore Valley AVA boasts one of the original U.S. appellations granted by the BATF in October of 1982. It has an east-west orientation, making it unique among northern California winegrowing regions. This orientation allows the coastal fog and marine breezes to come in from the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay and cool the valley’s warm air, resulting in warm days and cool nights, ideal conditions for producing fully-ripened, balanced fruit.

Winemaking
This Sauvignon Blanc went directly to press at harvest.  Fermentation completed predictably and was followed by cold stabilization within the first few months to retain a bright and youthful character.

Fermentation
A cool fermentation in stainless steel allowed for a slow and steady fermentation period.  No secondary fermentation has kept this wine firmly acidic and refreshing.

Aging
100% stainless steel for 5 months.

Tasting Notes
Minerality leads on the nose with hints of wet stone.  The palate explodes with white nectarine, honeysuckle and fresh squeezed lemonade.  Even the color is light and fresh.  Everything about this wine is crisp and refreshing.

Interests
Spring fashion, sun hats, mani/pedis, Keto, hiking and outdoor adventures, bike tours, afternoon siestas and good company.
