Zinful Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Charles R Zinfandel
  • ¾ Cup sugar, to taste
  • 2 Small or 1 large basket Strawberries (2 pints, stemmed/sliced)
  • Angel Food Cake, cubed
  • Vanilla Yogurt (may add protein powder to sweeten), or whipped cream
  • Large red wine glasses

Instructions

Blend Zinfandel and sugar, add strawberries and soak about one hour, then refrigerate ½ to 1 hour.

Place cubed cake into wine glasses, spoon the strawberries and juice over the cake, top with vanilla yogurt or whipped cream and serve immediately.

Pair with a glass of Charles R Zinfandel
